Step1. Create Inmobi Account

Login Inmobi official website to apply for an account

 

Step2. Create Inmobi Apps and Placements

(1) Add an App

Note: If your apps are not on the AppStore or Google play, you can select 'Have an app that isn't yet published?' to create a new app, and supplement your app's URL after published.

 

(2) create Placements

Create the corresponding Placement type based on the application Ad scenario.

 

Step3. Configure Inmobi's Report API

(1) To activate Inmobi's Report API, you need to obtain the following parameters: Account ID、Client ID (Email)、Secret Key

Configuration Information Description
Account ID Your Inmobi account's Account ID.
Your registered account email at Inmobi.
Secret Key Inmobi API Key.

To obtain the above parameters: Log in to the Inmobi backend → My Account → Account Settings → API Key.

Click the Generate API Key button for the first time, select the corresponding email to send the Key file (the received Key.pdf file, the decompression password is the corresponding email).

All the parameters mentioned above can be found in the PDF after decompression. A sample of the file content is as follows:

 

(2) Configure the InMobi Report API in Taku

Log in to Taku backend → Network → Add Network Account (Inmobi) → Edit (Activate Reporting API) → Enter Account ID, Client ID (Email), Secret Key sequentially

 

Step3(1). Enable the auto-create ad source feature

If you need to use the auto-create ad source function, on the add network account page, select Auto-create Ad Source = Yes, and fill in the Account ID, Client ID (Email), and Secret Key. Refer to Step 3 above for the parameter acquisition process.

 

Step4. Configure Inmobi on Taku

(1) The following Inmobi parameters need to be configured in Taku to display Inmobi ads and Inmobi data through Taku:

Parameter name Description
Placement ID Inmobi unique Placement ID for each Placement

Path:Select App→Placements→Placement ID

 

(2) Configure Inmobi parameters in Taku

Add AD Source

① Login Taku→Network→Ad Source Setting(Inmobi)→Add AD Source

② Fill in the Placement ID of the Inmobi corresponding to Taku's APP

③ Set the eCPM price of the AD Source (eCPM price can be set independently for different Segment

Note: The AD Source will be sorted according to the eCPM price, please fill in the real eCPM price set by Inmobi or the forcast eCPM via Inmobi.

 

Step5. Add Inmobi adapter to your code
