Step1. Create an Octopus Advertising account
Please contact Octopus Advertising to register an account, and then go to Octopus Ads to log in.
Step2. Add apps and placements in the Octopus Ads
(1) Add Apps
After registering an Octopus Advertising account, you can add new apps in [App Management] - [App List].
If you do not have permission to create and obtain application information on Octopus Advertising, please contact Octopus Business for processing.
(2) Add placements
After the app is created, you can add placements in [App Management] - [App Ad Placement].
If you do not have permission to create and obtain placements information on Octopus Advertising, please contact Octopus Business for processing.
Step3. Configure the Octopus Ads Report API
(1) Get the report API configuration information of Octopus Ads
Taku needs to use the authorization code of Octopus Advertising when pulling the report data of Octopus Advertising.
You can get it in the Octopus Ads [Authorization Code].
(2) Enable the Octopus Ads Report API in the Taku developer backend
Log in to Taku backend → Advertising platform → Add advertising platform (Octopus Ads)→ Edit (Open Report API)
Fill in the authorization code

Step4. Configure Octopus Ads in Taku
Configure Octopus Ads in the Taku developer backend. The required Octopus Ads parameters are as follows:
Parameter name | illustrate |
App ID | A unique ID generated by Octopus Ads for each app |
Ad slot ID | A unique ID generated by Octopus Ads for each ad slot |
(1) Get the app ID and ad slot ID of Octopus Ads
①Go to [Application Management] - [Application List] to view all app IDs
② Go to [App Management] - [App Ad Placement] to view all ad slot IDs
(2) Configure Octopus advertising parameters to the Taku developer backend
